This week I finished a year long journey by completing my final assignment and final web meeting of my ProGen Study Group (https://www.progenstudy.org/ ). We started out as a group of eight and ended as a group of six. We worked hard, we laughed and when it came to an end, I had tears!
I will miss the video chats with my group mates, miss reading and critiquing their assignments. I will even miss having my own assignments critiqued. The assignments challenged me and because I was challenged — I am a better genealogist at the end. It is definitely worth the time and effort.
I would like to say thank you to Robbie Johnson (our coordinator) and LaBrenda Garrett-Nelson (our mentor) for giving their time to help us become better.
